About Dan

The owner of Dan Enterprise,Mr Dan E Gana is a colourful character with a great personality. I got to know him in the course of building this site for him. Dan is a pioneer in selling & repairing musical instruments as well as providing studios for jamming since the 1970s. He is also a member of a talented band called The Esquires. The band was formed and helmed by his elder brother Eddie Ebenezer . After Eddie left, Dan took over leading the band in 1969 and still helms it till today.  Although Dan is versatile in a number of musical instruments, his forte is the saxophone and he's  also the lead singer. Oh and did I mention he's also a songwriter ? ... awesome.

Apart from his passion for music, Dan is also a pioneer retailer at Peninsula Shopping Centre . After a 3 year break, he's now back again at Peninsula, this time selling arts, and antiques which he amassed in his trips abroad to Philippines, India, Malaysia etc..  Hence his shop on the 4th floor of Peninsula Shopping Centre is interesting with a combination of musical instruments and antiques. Aside from antiques and guitars, Dan also offers musicians a great studio for jamming which is affordably priced. And if you have a guitar that needs repair, he's the right person to visit as I've seen some of the jobs he's done and they've been superbly restored.
